Review on Hunter 59219 Ceiling Handheld Brushed by Michael Long

Yes and no. for ceiling fans and accessories

So far so good after a few hiccups. During installation, the hanging bracket had to be squeezed a bit to get the screw holes to line up with the holes in my electrical enclosure. That was fine until it was time to install the top canopy that touches the ceiling. The hood screw holes no longer line up with the curved bracket. This was overcome by using only one of the two bolts and a gasket to fill the cavity. After the installation was complete, the switch closed, the switch clicked, the remote pressed, nothing. No fan. No light. The LED indicator on the remote also did not light up when the buttons were pressed. I called Hunter who quickly agreed to send a replacement remote. The old does not require return. I've since opened up the remote and wiped/reinstalled the circuit board. Now it works, remote control, fan, everything. Unfortunately, the original remote will never look new again. I am pleased with Hunter's ease of agreeing to a free network replacement. So far everything seems to be going smoothly. This is a nice facility even in a 1920's bungalow. The blade coating and body paint are slightly scratched. Be careful when installing and you will be fine. Please note: the body color is not as black as shown in the addendum. It's a speckled mix of black and bronze. Very good color choice and in my opinion better than the expected Flat Black. Don't worry, this is a minimal stain and will not be visible from the ground. In these photos, putty is still applied with masking tape.

Cons
