Canon's own documentation is contradictory as it states that "wireless printing and scanning requires a working network that supports 802.11b/g/wireless n and with a frequency works from 2.4. GHz or 5.0GHz", but the printer itself can only work at 2.4GHz. Consider this when purchasing. Revain really should add a section with better specs for electronic devices. I would try Bluetooth for family PCs that will connect to it, but there doesn't seem to be a Bluetooth option for the PC that won't toggle between fast and slow networks just to tap to get it back.
