Nice compact wireless printer!

I needed an inexpensive wireless printer for home use. I've only been using this printer for a few days, but so far it's working great for my needs. Setup was quick and easy thanks to the online instructions. So far I've only printed from the iPad. By default, it will automatically print in color unless you select grayscale in the application. The bottom paper tray is a little less durable than the bottom paper tray on my previous two Canon Pixma printers, but works well. So far I've only…

Printer does not support 5.0GHz as advertised

Canon's own documentation is contradictory as it states that "wireless printing and scanning requires a working network that supports 802.11b/g/wireless n and with a frequency works from 2.4. GHz or 5.0GHz", but the printer itself can only work at 2.4GHz. Consider this when purchasing. Revain really should add a section with better specs for electronic devices. I would try Bluetooth for family PCs that will connect to it, but there doesn't seem to be a Bluetooth option for the PC that won't…

Not recommended for printers and accessories

I spent 3 hours setting it up. It took a long time but it was easy to follow the basic setup by following the video. A connection to my WLAN could not be established. Still can't connect to iPhone. Eventually I was resourceful enough to figure out how to connect to Wi-Fi, but you have to manually scroll up and down to enter the password. real pain It finally worked on my phone and ended up with great frustration on my laptop - 3 hours - my whole day.
