Bought this to carry my new Maltese puppy It was the perfect size for him with room to grow (he started at 2, 5 lbs. and now 5 lbs.) He loves the padded cage and often crawls in to take a nap when we are home. The pillow on the plank below was a little thin for my liking and in Colorado winters.fleece -Reversible pet (dog/cat) bed to glue it to the board.I like the ease of use with two holes (one on top and one on the end).* Edited to add: correction on two holes, it has three.I missed the hole on the side.Three sides are hard material and one long side is durable mesh with a mesh top that even Cody's sharp puppy teeth couldn't gnaw through.mu that Cody already has two collars and two gifts madly chewed. The bag is very light, but very robust and well made. The only thing I would wish for better is that the opening end of the bag could have a wire to keep the top from falling off when the end hole is open (if that makes sense). Other than that little thing I can fix myself, I can't think of anything that would make it the best travel carrier. June 2021: Cody has grown to 7 pounds. and this medium was still in use. Then our family was expanded to include a Havanese/Zwergspitz. Cody ate her puppy food and now weighs 11 pounds. So I bought him a large one and used the medium one for Bailey, the new puppy. At first she thundered at middleweight (1.3 kilos), but grew into it. Now she weighs 4 kilos. and 2 years. She took a large stretcher for a bed. Both holders hold up well and show no signs of wear. I am very impressed and very happy with both purchases.

Pros
  • Good build
Cons
  • No machine gun
