It should do the job pretty well

I'm so excited to love this little thing. Just did a test run this morning with just a two bowl tray so it was a small amount of food. I think I let it run for about fifteen minutes before checking it out. Wow. This food was hot! It was so hot I had to let it cool for a few minutes. But it seems to me that it will be convenient for work. I chose this particular make/model because: 1. Two plates have plastic lids. I can leave the heating at work, pack lunch at home and take it with me separately from the heating. I don't have to use or wash more dishes than necessary. 2. It has the highest power I have ever seen. It should heat up faster and possibly last longer than others. I really like that it's a neutral color. Doesn't look like a child's toy. Since these things are surprisingly small, a more grown-up look is welcome. The handle is made of faux leather, so it doesn't have to cut my fingers like hard plastic. The locks seem strong enough. At least I hope they last. I'm sure if the latch breaks it will vape well enough. A few things to note: 1. The cord is very short. They must be near an electrical outlet or an extension cord. It's not polarized either. 2. Small plastic water cups are not suitable. It holds a maximum of 50 ml of water. In the Q&A section here, but nowhere in the owner's manual, a company representative states that 150-200ml (about 1/2 cup in the US) of water is required. So be aware of that. The instructions say it turns off when the tank runs out of water. 3. I wonder if there will be a problem with mold if the inside of the unit is not dried after each use. I just steamed some eggs (in the shell). I cooked one 10 minutes and the other 15. 10 was short; I don't have a proper egg cup so eating a whole egg was too messy. 15 minutes was either too long or too short depending on how much you like eggs. It was just a little bit short of fully hard-boiled. But it was great and warm. Quite feasible for a warm egg at work. By the way, the stem comes out of the corner of the cover. I burned myself because I wasn't paying attention. I will update as needed but so far I am happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Poor set
