Review on 📱 Samsung Galaxy S21 5G Smartphone, Purple Phantom - 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage by Stanislaw Kisiel ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality, not a great product.

I bought this smartphone at the start of trade in sales, changed it to S20 +. Compared to it, this one is slightly wider, and therefore a little less convenient to use. Otherwise, they are absolutely identical both in merits and jambs. There is practically no difference, you just had to keep the S20 + and use it further. This is me to the fact that a year has passed, but progress is not noticeable, at least in everyday life. For many years, Samsung has been "rethinking" its cameras, but something of progress is imperceptible. Photos are sometimes good, but in general, autofocus and exposure do not work well. If the object moves at least a little, or the lighting is artificial, or it’s twilight outside (even more so at night), it’s very difficult to get a good picture, despite the presence of many settings (night mode, Pro, frame optimization, etc. Yes, what’s the night, even with bright the sun the camera can smear the picture. In short, the photos are blurry. As for listening to music, the external speakers sound good, the sound is also good in wired headphones, but with wireless headphones everything is mediocre, or even bad. I understand that exinos is not qualcomm, there is no support for the aptX codec, but in a device for this price, the sound should be perfect. Although I don’t like using an iPhone because of the inconvenience of working with files and texts, its sound and camera are much better. As for unlocking, I think the fingerprint scan is not very convenient, because it does not always work the first time, and this can be very inconvenient. Some analogue of face ID, like iPhones, would be more useful, but it’s better not to talk about unlocking using the front camera, because it doesn’t work at all in the dark. Otherwise, a pleasant and convenient device in everyday life. If you are not embarrassed by a mediocre camera and mediocre sound in wireless headphones, then you can purchase it.

Pros
  • 1. Good screen 2. Convenient file system 3. Performance 4. Beautiful, pleasant appearance (a matter of taste) 5. Good video quality 6. Manufacturer support for OS and security ates 7. USB cable data rate 8. Availability and speed of wireless interfaces
Cons
  • 1. Poor quality of photos (although strange, but the video shoots well) 2. Mediocre bluetooth audio 3. Too close connection to Google services 4. No support for internal microSD storage 5. Support for external flash drives formatted only in fat 32 format (generally the last century) 6. Unlocking the screen on the face is generally no, according to a fingerprint of the norms. provided that the hands are clean and accurately hit the sensor
