No assembly required; replaced old box springs
I ordered the queen size to replace box springs for the bed. I have a 14you dog who is no longer able to jump on to the bed. This worked great! For those wondering, I put this on a metal/steel frame bed. This product seems to hold the bed well and feels sturdy, even with me and my 99lb golden retriever on the bed (I'm 180lbs). The slats fit the frame end to end, the slats are oriendted vertically. They have not shifted once the mattress (with its weight) was placed on top.All in all I think this was a smart purchase. And I'm happy the dog can get up the bed again due to the lower height of the bed!
- SLATS IS STRONG : enough to be used directly on bed frame
- The grey cover may not be durable and may deteriorate over time
