I have a DAC with a built in amplifier, when I turn off the DAC it switches to stereo sound. This is where the problems start. My computer with 100% sound will destroy my ears because the speakers I have are way too loud. Now the sound is nice to listen to with this little guy, no more need to set the sound through windows, I just move this knob and my speakers hear. To clarify, this volume control DECREASES the sound, it doesn't boost it. - 1 Star: I literally dropped this thing 1 foot off the ground and it broke into 5 pieces. Let us!? I assembled it and it still seems to work.
