Review on 🧊 Icy Dock FatCage MB153SP-B: Hot-Swap 3x3.5 SATA Hard Drive Backplane Cage for 2X 5.25 Drive Bay by Isaac Samal

I just installed this drive cage in my server to hide another hard drive in the enclosure before having to resort to an external enclosure. This product is very well built and fairly easy to install. All screws come with the cage, are packaged separately and are even labeled so you don't get the wrong ones. The included fan is quiet and I love that it has built-in LEDs for each drive. It installed on my system right away, with one small downside. It uses two standard SATA power connectors, but the way they line up makes installation difficult if you have right-angle connectors on your power supply. Getting them in there isn't impossible, but you'll have to bend the wires fairly tightly or modify the connector. Or you can get straight connector SATA power extenders. If you have direct power connections, you don't have to worry. Anyhow, this small flaw shouldn't stop you from purchasing this otherwise excellent product.
