My son has very dry skin on his neck and elbows, not just dry but dry like sandpaper. It's itchy and uncomfortable for him. I've tried everything from CereVe to organic homemade creams to prescription creams from our dermatologist. Not a miracle cream for us, but in my top 3. Pros: Wonderful texture Absorbs well Seems to form a barrier to retain moisture Cons: If you use too much it rolls into balls (dirt) Sticky Bottom line if you do everything else would try, I would try. We apply a light layer to his skin and then apply something less sticky. It really helps, but I still have to use it at least twice a day to really see any significant changes. I don't think it will cure his dry skin but it might help bring it back to normal. Edited: I wanted to post an update because my 14 month old has eczema on his hands.
