As is often the case with small Chinese manufacturers, the instructions that come with the device or are available on the internet seem somewhere between confusing and ridiculous (are there native English speakers to help able to translate these instructions?). ? ). However, I will say that I emailed their support team with an issue I had been using as a simple WiFi hotspot connected to a physical switch (incoming non-HTTP WiFi connections seemed blocked to be) and I got a quick response and her suggestion in somewhat broken English to use a statically assigned IP address for the access point fixed the problem. I can understand that this can be very frustrating for those who are new to TCP/IP router concepts. With all this, the real product works perfectly. With line of sight I have a fully usable signal 750 feet from the device. I have a farm in the countryside so there is no other WiFi interference ie YMMV.
