It works and I use it every day for my computer on my trip. You need to add a loop so you can exit part of the table and actually use the empty space underneath. The sliding feature is a cheap joke and I spent money on this feature. Otherwise it serves its purpose. For the price they charge they should have designed it a little better. You can't use the storage space because the car's console is in the way, so you have to lift everything to get in there.
