I have had other percussion massagers but none compare to the power and control this device offers. There are a number of other similar percussion massagers but I know the Rotai brand and have a foot massager and it's a great product. The massage block comes in an individual case that can be used to store the massager and its six heads. and power adapter/charger. The device itself is slightly larger than I expected, has a smooth matte finish, and shows attention to detail in the design and finish. The main power switch is located on the underside of the handle next to the AC charging socket and there is an LCD display on the back of the gun with an additional on/off switch and power level settings. There are 20 power levels available for this device, wide enough to find your perfect percussion level. There is also a digital battery indicator that shows the charge level up to 99%. To install and remove percussion heads, you must either insert or pull the head out of the socket. The heads are held firmly, so changing them requires little effort. This is good as it means the heads won't fall out while using the massager. I am very satisfied with the performance offered by this device. If it were more effective, I would probably find it painful. With the right head and power level, it definitely helps in breaking up knots in the muscles and relieving my aches and pains. The massager is also quiet. I was also surprised by the battery life in this device. I had long sessions and the battery level dropped slightly. In the month I've had it I've only charged it once other than the first charge I gave it when it arrived. It is important to turn off the main power switch on the bottom, otherwise the battery will be drained. The only real problem I had was trying to use the massager on my own back. it gets a little difficult to achieve, which is understandable. While trying to hold the massager, I accidentally pressed the device's touchscreen and turned it off. I don't see this as a design problem. It's more my problem with how I try to use the product. With that in mind, I agree with the other reviewer that a silicone grip can help to make the device easier to grip. Based on my experience I believe this is a professional quality product that I would definitely order again and again. I have no problem with purchase recommendations. I am very satisfied with the product and it works as stated in the product description.
