Not smart at all Suitable for lamps and ceiling fans

I'm always looking for a new 'light'. I love all that RGB stuff and smart bulbs. When I saw this Magiacous Smart RGB Light Bar Set, I thought it was right up my alley. But I think I was wrong. With all of today's lighting technology, you'd think these light panels would do a lot better than they did. I could only turn them on with the switch on the back of one of the slats. There is an app that you need to download to access all the lighting features, but I couldn't get it to work. I'm always suspicious of those "untrustworthy apps" anyway, but it was a complete failure. It was quickly removed from my iPhone. The USB cable that connects these light panels to each other and to the power supply is very short. The light strips can really only be placed about 2 feet apart and the power section of the cable is the same length too. You can really only use this set on one computer as there is no way to place it in the living room or even around a large TV. Connecting them so they don't fall behind the stand is a nightmare. A long cable would be very nice. These light bars should also respond to music...hardly mine. Even when cranked up, the Mu Jams are nothing more than a flutter. Very disappointing. I'm sure there are good RGB LED strip kits out there... I just didn't get one. The included cable is too short to do anything with it...the app doesn't work...and they don't respond to music. That's three strikes in my book... look elsewhere.
