Review on Padlock Hanayama Metal Teaser Puzzle by Randy Butler

So uncomfortable! I solved the puzzle at least 5 times but I didn't know how to do it! This is a very smart design. It took me about 2 hours total over a couple of days to figure it out, but to really understand how it works took me 12+ hours over a couple of weeks. It's nice when you finally understand how it's done! I still enjoy playing with it every now and then, I know exactly how to complete it, so it takes me around 5-10 minutes now. I think I need to put some kind of oil on it because over time the parts get harder and harder to slide smoothly.
