The screen worked great on my DV6! It's the same high quality as the one that came with my computer - no difference. But if you have a DV6 and aren't very good at disassembling and reassembling electronics, get ready for a 6-hour experience where you'll have to remove everything but the motherboard to swap out the screen. My friend took it apart and, as someone used to working with desktops, spent an hour apologizing for breaking my laptop. I received this screen after finding out the one I ordered was wrong and assembling it myself. I've never built a computer, so if I can do it, so can you! Just go slow, follow the maintenance manual and place the screws of each step into the cupcake pan. You will definitely feel like you can replace anything after replacing the screen in the DV6.
