Negative review, (was) positive review (please read)

I haven't used it yet because the batteries I bought don't fit I went to the site to find out what battery it needs. The device only says 1.5V and the picture looks like an AA battery. I bought type D batteries but I think they are somewhere in between. However, assembly was difficult and they are terribly thin. It's kinda weird. But I think it just needs a little modification. Nonetheless. The unit is the ONLY one I've been able to find with the motor on top meaning it's less damaging to the tank and the battery powered concept makes it ideal for when you're going to the max. Pull your plugs out of the reservoir. I need to find the batteries or I'll update the review today after finally using them. I know it's a good mark for such a negative comment. correct batteries. When I use it it vibrates and nothing happens. I looked from the side and first saw the max/min which indicates the corresponding water level. I realized it was called mini, not min. It's confusing as hell and made me think the water should at least be on that line because when I started using it it just vibrated and there was no suction. Very disappointing, had high hopes for it. And if the level needs to be higher, that's a little crazy because I'm using a 29 gallon tank, which is proportionately taller than a 10 or 20 gallon tank. In any case, I consider myself quite techy, this device is very fragile and cheap, although the concept is great. . It's a shame when nothing else has some of its features. OK. 2 stars because the idea is great but the implementation is poor
