We had problems feeding our catfish because our koi immediately steal their food. We measured before purchasing and put in our 29 gallon tank. It fits perfectly and the 3 parts reach the water surface together. So basically we fence our catfish in once a week and make sure they eat well. The plastic is flexible enough that we can easily bend it to fit over the rim of the tank. We're going to cut about an inch off one of the sections so we don't have to struggle with the rim of the tank. It looks like it's going to be easy. In any case, this is a good product. would recommend
