I gave it to my husband.
It was not good for my hair; but my husband's thin and short hair has benefited from its bristles. I'd say it would be great for teenage boys' short haircuts, also. The bristles are too rough for a child's head.
- Bought for arthritic senior. It fits well in her hand with no discomfort.
- The brush may not detangle hair as effectively as other brushes on the market
