Good product just doesn't fit

Bought this to replace my 2012 Chevy Tahoe. After reading everything I thought it would be my replacement but it wasn't. Looks identical but has ridges on the sides of the cover preventing it from fitting my 2012 Tahoe. Probably a good product, not made for my truck. I had to go back.
