This is a good set of birds for the intermediate level player who is serious about the game but isn't willing to shell out $30 for a tube of feathered birds. These birds easily last 6-7 games before showing the first signs of wear compared to feathered birds which become unplayable after 1-2 games at a similar level of play (I tried the Aerosensa 50 for comparison). These birds can still be used for warm up/training after they've worn out a bit, while you'll have to throw away the feathered birds after a few games. Birdies (green plastic band) all over the internet. I found these medium speed birds to be noticeably faster than the feathered birds and decided to try the slow birds for comparison. I don't know why nobody keeps them.
