I have bought many Japanese washcloths over the years. And in different textures. This one is a little different. It's rough when dry but softens when wet, but still very exfoliating. It has all the qualities I love about other brands but the main thing is how clean it washes off (unlike a sponge or rag) and also how long it lasts, perfect for the whole back. And I've never seen such a beautiful gray. The ones I have are all light (blue, pink, yellow) and never match what I have. Matches perfectly with other grey/white/black accessories. I love it. Will be buying more as gifts rather than the usual bright Japanese 3 pack versions. This one is more expensive, but it also looks like it! <3
