These pads exfoliate the skin well but not too harshly. The soap foams well in it, and at the same time they are well washed off. I definitely recommend them.

They take a little getting used to, but I like them. I run them in very hot water when I first soften them up a bit. After the first two uses everything is perfect.

Here you can immediately see the difference between the store bought brand and the quality. It's thicker and makes you feel really clean. You definitely need a good lathering body wash to get the full effect because if you don't, it can feel awkward. I highly recommend this product.

Finally, this is an exfoliating bath towel that soothes my dry skin leaving it soft and smooth. It's wide enough to easily exfoliate my back. It is so effective that I no longer have to apply moisturizer after showering. Now, of course, I use it with my shower cream in the shower. By the way: When new, it was a bit stiff/tough. But there was an easy fix, just tossing it in my cold machine wash (in a lingerie bag) a few times and letting it air dry.

I have bought many Japanese washcloths over the years. And in different textures. This one is a little different. It's rough when dry but softens when wet, but still very exfoliating. This is the typical washcloth used in most Asian families (I'm Asian) to really exfoliate the skin and clean it as much as possible. Be careful with this as it is very rough and not soft at all. If you want a hard peel, this is perfect. If you have sensitive skin I doubt you can use this product. It feels like it hurts if you rub too hard.
