To be honest I don't know how fun it is or not, this new product. What I do know for sure is that no app for kids requires location services to be turned on — not even to use the product. Didn't you know that this kit works (works) with a partner app? My child has a Revain Fire tablet that, because Revain has designed a safe product, disables location services for their children's devices. Pairing Lego Mario with the app via Bluetooth - no problem, works great, the device only pairs with the Mario figure when you turn on location services (GPS) for the app. Such an option does not exist even in the child's profile, at least in Fire. And why should it be?
