🤖 Lego Ideas Voltron 21311: Unleash the Power of the Legendary Defender! Review

Five glorious evenings building this thing. It's an absolute treat as it works so well for both Voltron and Lions. Then I hope they release the Legendary Defender version.

Bought as a gift, very satisfied. These are of excellent build quality as expected from LEGO and will take a builder anywhere from 1-2 hours on a Lion to under an hour to put together for the first time. Once assembled everything looks fantastic! Great LEGO set under $200.

Great kit, the engineering that must have gone into this is just amazing. The fact that he actually transforms between a lion and a robot is pretty amazing. It's sturdy when standing in robot form, standing around 18 inches tall. My son and I had a lot of fun building this set.

Have fun building with my child. This is a solid build for both Lions and Voltron. The only thing I don't like is that the black lion requires rearranging the pieces to build Voltron instead of transforming into Voltron. It didn't live up to my expectations as it's similar to Voltron and the size of the toy is big.

I was a kid in the 80's and not a Voltron fan but when I saw this Lego set I had to buy it! Incredibly fun build and lions can actually transform into Voltrons! A small downside is that it looks pretty weird - a bit messy and heavy on top. Other than that, this is a great set. 2300+ parts. The accompanying booklet shows the different versions that were developed before deciding on the final model. Highly recommended.

Best Christmas present! My 6 year old spent 2 hours on each colored lion. He loved building it! Likes to play with him. Two months later he's still playing with it. He loves her looks. He hasn't seen the show or the movie(?) but my husband liked Voltron as a kid and was very excited when he found this LEGO. He wanted to build it with our son, but our son was having so much fun he didn't want to wait until dad's weekend. Rschunimagu. It will be hard to beat how cool this LEGO is!

The only negative I can say about this set is why doesn't it include pilot minifigures? and to a much lesser extent blades/weapons of individual lions. It's so cute that I can't give it a 4 in a 5 star rating system, but if it were a 10 star system I would definitely only give it a 9/10 otherwise. Other than that, my goodness, this thing is amazing. Individual lions are large and powerful, and the formed Voltron is huge. It's rated 16+ but I was a kid who loved Lego - I could have assembled…

This build is one of the funnest I've ever done. Although Cats 2 & 3 and 4 & 5 are built identically, they're still a lot of fun to collect, and this fact is enhanced when you line up all five Cats. Combining for Voltron is a lot easier than any of the "make it all and put it together" builds I've done in the past. So this product is fantastic. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. It has instructions that my 6 year old was able to follow. Set up in 2 days! He has an older brother who lives and breathes LEGO, so maybe he has the patience and skill to follow all of these instructions (which he actually did on his own without his older brother's help).
