Bath time is exciting again!

My son got these for his second birthday a few weeks ago, and bath time has become exciting again. He's always liked his baths, but sometimes tearing him away from his other toys was hard. Now we just have to remind him that there's blocks in the tub waiting for him, and he goes running. They float, they're soft, and they stick to the sides of the tub when wet They come with a mesh bag to keep them collected, and it has a couple of loops on it so it's easy to hang it from a hook in the bathroom

Pros
  • my little one likes this when bathing..thank you!
Cons
  • The blocks are too lightweight and may not be suitable for rough play

Twins are excited for my opinion

my 15 month old twins enjoy playing with these blocks, both in and out of the tub. There are plenty for both of them to share, so there's no fighting!

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Kids liked this at first.

Fun for a 15 month old, beware it comes apart when chewed on

I got these for my son to play with because the other bath toys were boring to him now. He loves them and so does Daddy (who gives him the baths). They stack blocks together and have fun. I will probably purchase another set so they have more blocks to play with.I wish they came with more blocks and I do agree that its a little expensive for what you get, but the playable value is worth it.I give it 4 stars because its more pricey than it needs to be.UPDATE: My toddler started chewing on the…

Pros
  • Encourages imaginative play
Cons
  • The blocks may not be very engaging for children who are more interested in interactive toys

not so excited best in my review

I got this for my son who recently turned 2. He's been bored at bath time and I tried to get something he would be a little more excited about. He's just so-so on this product. He gets excited about throwing the pieces into the tub but once he is in the tub he does not pay much attention to the pieces. He's more excited about turning his mouth into a water fountain or splashing with his feet.

Pros
  • Excellent for the bathtub
Cons
  • The blocks may not be as educational as advertised

16 month old loves it and so do her parents

We have a ton of fun with this.the floating bottom part makes it really fun to build while the whole "town" floats.or we just like to build on the side of the tub too. Really nice toy.

Pros
  • Building Toys
Cons
  • The blocks may not be very visually appealing

Ok, but.overpriced!

Looks like a good bath toy, but in my opinion is very overpriced for what you get. I bought it as a birthday gift and was expecting a bigger box with more blocks for $17.95.

Pros
  • IMPROVE MOTOR SKILLS: Edushape bath toys are easy to grab and help encourage the development of large gross motor skills. Rotate them up and down, left to right - and engage your little one while developing their motor skills!
Cons
  • The blocks may not be easy to clean

Great Addition to Bathtime

My 14-month-old son has had these for a few weeks now, and he loves them. He will stay in the bath for much longer now because he thinks they are so much fun. He can't build much with them yet, but they come with a net bag for storage, and he loves putting them back into the bag and then dumping them out again. The pieces float really well and even stick to the walls of the tub. I'm sure we will get a lot of use out of these bath toys.

Pros
  • Enhances problem-solving abilities
Cons
  • The blocks may not be very engaging for children of all ages

A bath toy without mildew!

Every squirting bath toy eventually succumbs to mildew and mold that grows inside and then squirts out into the tub. Nasty. These blocks, however, don't have cavities for mold and mildew growth. That's enough to warrant a 5-star rating right there, but they're also fun. My kids enjoy building ships and whatnot in the tub with these. These may be the best bath toys ever!

Pros
  • Promotes mental stimulation
Cons
  • The blocks may not be very challenging for children who are already advanced in their development

Great for preschool aged kids

We bought this for my son for Christmas last year. He loves to build and it's perfect for his age range (3-4 years old). My only complaint is that my 1 year old daughter likes to use the foamy blocks as chew toys in the bath and she can bite chunks off. I can only let my son use it when she's not in the tub with him.

Pros
  • Boosts creativity
Cons
  • The blocks may be too simple for more adventurous children

Great bath toy!: my feedback

My 1 year old daughter received that for Christmas and she and my 4 year old son love playing with it in the bath. The build towers and knock them down. It is fairly large, though and takes up a lot of the bath tub.

Pros
  • great would buy again for gift
Cons
  • The blocks may not be durable enough to withstand heavy use

Bathtime Fun good for me

My girls - ages 11 months and 27 months - love these blocks. They love building on the edges of the tub and sticking the pieces to the sides. The floating mat is a great platform for all bath toys - bonus. Also, we've had them for months and they don't smell or discolor, which is a concern with bath toys. A fun and quality toy.

Pros
  • Provides hours of fun
Cons
  • The blocks may not be very useful for promoting creativity

My son's favorite bath toy

My almost-3-year-old son loves this bath toy and has played with it since he was 2. The board floats flat, the blocks stack nicely. I like the idea of the net bag, but you have to line everything up just so to make sure it fits. Four stars because the bag is difficult for block storage. Otherwise, love the toy.

Pros
  • Improves motor skills
Cons
  • The blocks may not come in enough colors

I only took a star off because I wish it came with a few more blocks. However the blocks are made really nicely and stick to each other and the wall when they are wet. My 3 year old son really loves playing with them in the tub. Would good for a pool too. Just don't let them float into the filter :)

Pros
  • Portable
Cons
  • The blocks may not be very stimulating for children who require more sensory input

great bath addition

My 13 mo old really likes these. He doesn't play with them every night, but they are one of our better bath toys. Non-slippery.

Pros
  • Non-slippery
Cons
  • The blocks may be too easy for children who are already advanced in their development

Fun for the bath tub for my 2 year old

My 2 year old loved this blocks. The green base is nice because it floats and you can stack all the other blocks on top of it to make a house. We make houses and towers for the rubber duckies.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE AND STORE: Edushape toys are made of quality materials that are BPA and Phthalate Free. They are easy to clean, store, and reuse for years to come.
Cons
  • The blocks may not be worth the price

Cool Blocks on my review.

My 14 month old son was getting bored by his bath toys so I decided it was time for new ones. I read the reviews for this product and decided to go for it. These are a huge hit! I actually have to pull my son out of the bath now. He sits in the bath and builds and builds. The only issue that I have is that the floating platform moves around a lot (of course) and it is hard for my son to sit in one place and build. He scoots around trying to corral the platform and blocks. As he gets older…

Pros
  • Stacking Blocks
Cons
  • The blocks may not offer much variety

Keeps Kids Entertained at Bath Time

These foam building blocks are wonderful for two reasons:1) my 3-year-old loves to build things in the bath, combining her favorite sports of seeing what floats and making things tall2) my 1-year-old loves to eat things in the bath, and aside from the bath water and washcloth, this is a nice alternative -- too big to choke on, but just right for gnawing those gumsA wonderful product, honestly. Colorful, durable, and fun!

Pros
  • Easy to clean
Cons
  • The blocks may not be very useful for enhancing motor skills

Best for the tub: my feedback

After buying the squirt toys for my son and having him trying to suck the water out of them (gross for me to think about) we decided to buy these blocks instead. He is 2 and enjoys stacking them and having them stick to the wall. The mesh bag that it comes in is also great because they really get completely dry every night and I don't worry about mold. There is no where for water to sit and grow mold.

Pros
  • Free from sharp edges
Cons
  • The blocks may be too expensive for what they offer

These are great to have

These are really great. My baby liked to just hold the small blocks before he could sit up. Now he likes to play with a few of them and stack them, and they are so light if he throws them nothing will get knocked over or break. They come in a mesh bag to store them in. I don't give him all the blocks at once so I don't have to lay them all out to dry, I just put the 4 wet ones on top of the bag and clean up is done - no elaborate rinsing ritual is necessary like some bath toys. My toddler also…

Pros
  • Lightweight and easy to handle
Cons
  • The blocks may not be very versatile

Makes bath time even more fun!

I purchased these for my 2 year old daughter a couple of months ago and they've been a hit ever since. They stick to various surfaces which makes building easy. She likes to build houses for her rubber duck and it's been great watching her figure out each piece and where each piece needs to go so she gets the house that she wants. They store easily in small toy bin and are quick to clean up. A great purchase!

Pros
  • Can be used for sorting activities
Cons
  • The blocks may not provide enough variety in terms of how they can be used
