80 Piece Quercetti Tecno Building Set Review

I was actually excited to give this to my 4y/o son who just started to be interested in building and constructing. We open it and he was bummed, there is a really not enough to build all this great constructions in it, no Tires to build cars.we looked at it for like 3 Minutes, then we closed it and now 4 days later, still never opened it back up :( It looks pretty sturdy and the screwdriver fit into the screws really good, thats the reason why it has 3Stars, simply because its made durable…

This is a nice "starter" set. For the price they could have included more. The pieces are made of a cheap plastic and very easily snap in half ! Our 4 year old broke 2 of the blue pieces soon as he opened it by accident. Pay close attention and read the description of the item you are purchasing! I thought I had ordered the one with wheels. Do not go by the picture alone ! The tray with the screw holes is also the lid which is good except since it's not hinged to the tray it will pop…

My kids are 4. They were excited about it for about 2 days and then lost interest in it. I think it would be better if the pieces were wood or something. Maybe your child will enjoy it more than ours did. It may be an age issue.it may be a lack of interest issue.

I bought this toy for my preschool class. The kids all like it very much. It seems a little flimsy but so far has held up much better than I expected. The kids are fascinated with the tools and they all crowd around for a turn. I will have to get another. It is great for fine motor development.

My 5 year old kept taking all my things apart and never quite got them back together again. This was perfect for him to use all the tools and make a variety of things.

Bought this for my 5.5 year old and he loves it. Great for hand eye coordination. He will be able to use it for a long time. He can work on the flat designs by himself now and can grow into the more complicated ones.

They do not include enough pieces to make this entertaining for more than a day. Take a close look at the photographs with the toy description. Each item takes essentially all the parts in the set to construct. Quercetti includes a 14 page album, presumably for building ideas. However, with model 0560 (80 pieces), you receive only enough parts for 7 of 14 projects shown in the album. Love this toy! My grandson is 4 and we found this toy to be wonderful for developing small motor skills. The crescent wrench was hard for him yet, but it gives him something to work on.

My son received these as a Christmas gift in 2011. He jumped right in with the pieces and the tools. They were excellent for his fine motor skills and FUN! (which was the point). The case is handy and keeps all the pieces together. We had lots of fun creating the suggested items and making our own. It's been a year since purchase and unfortunately they've gone the way of legos (scattered) but it was a great gift for my five year old.

This is a great toy to help develop a child's motor skills. My grandson loves making the things in the booklet. However, the booklet shows pictures of things to make that need more pieces than this comes with. Seems like they made one booklet for two sets. The toy itself is great!

This set is incomplete to construct the items in the supplied booklet but fun for the 4 - 6 year old just learning types and use of screwdrivers and wrenches.
