I like it a lot, even if it's not as good as many of its competitors. The design is not as strong, smaller and not as good as many smoke alarms. However, it is inexpensive and reliable at detecting smoke and carbon monoxide and is very easy to mount high up in a closet, in an RV or in a car. a dormitory or some unfamiliar place where you just need to know it's safe to breathe. After last winter, many people have generators. And many people end up in apartments or dormitories where they have no real control over the quality of the security equipment built into their home. It's a cheap way to add your own smoke alarm and I love that it's so small. I have a much more expensive detector and it's reading about the same as it has been for several months, so I think it's pretty accurate. .
