Description of Wireless Aqara Water Leak Sensor white CN

The wireless sensor will warn of water leakage in time and help to save the furniture. There are 2 metal contacts at the bottom of the sensor. When they touch the water, the sensor sends a signal to the Aqara Hub. He turns on the alarm and sends an alert to the smartphone. The IP67 protection standard means that the sensor is completely protected from dust and water when submerged to a depth of up to 1 meter for up to half an hour. If you add a smart plug or Aqara switch to the sensor, it will be able to control the valve through which water enters. Then the smart home will not only report an accident, but also shut off the water itself.

A really necessary purchase, I'm glad I found this product.

The contacts on the sensor are bolts. I unscrewed them, added plates with wires and it turned out that there was one sensor, but it had two trigger points. For the second point, I took the case of a point light bulb. The cottage itself is located below, completely closed, which is located behind the kitchen set. If directly, then between the sensor and the hub - a wall - 3 cabinets of a kitchen set - a wall, everything works!

Pros
  • Connected without problems to Xiaomi Gateway 3 via ZigBee protocol. Works clearly. I immediately pulled myself up to . Smart Home, set up that Alice starts screaming when water leaks, and Gateway also screams.
Cons
  • I did not immediately understand how the button on the sensor was pressed, I thought it was touch. It turned out that you just need to push harder on it - the body bends and the button is pressed

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

Beautifully presented with printed directions. Adding new components to the system is easy. The sensor must be brought to the hub and pressed firmly and held for a few seconds, at which point the hub will flash to indicate a successful connection.

Pros
  • Attractive and refined. Verified to perform properly when exposed to water before being permanently installed. The battery can last up to two years before needing to be replaced. Compatibility with the Aqara system and the Apple Home Kit is simple.
Cons
  • No

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I work with ioBroker. Sensors attach without issue. The state of sensors cannot yet be transmitted to Alice. Set up Telegram alerts. Everything has been tested and is in working order.

Pros
  • little sizes. Simple installation is required: 1. Connect to a zigbee smart home system. 2. Place the sensor behind the toilet, in the tub, and under the kitchen sink.
Cons
  • the requirement to regularly check the battery's charge (even though you can create your own low battery notification). I want it to continue at least a year.

It came in a nice box with printed directions. Adding new components to the system is easy. Bringing the sensor close to the hub, pressing firmly, and holding for a few seconds will establish a connection and cause the hub to flash.

Pros
  • Attractive and elegant. Verified to perform properly when exposed to water before being permanently installed. The battery can last up to two years before needing to be replaced. Compatible with Aqara and Apple Home Kit with little effort.
Cons
  • No

Presented in a presentable box with written instructions. Adding new components to the system is a very easy process. You will need to position the sensor so that it is adjacent to the hub, then press firmly and maintain that pressure for a few seconds, until the indicator flashes and verifies the connection.

Pros
  • Stunning to look at and elegant. Checked before installing in a permanent location to ensure that it functions properly when water is present. There may be a delay of up to two years before the battery needs to be replaced. Integrates seamlessly with both the Aqara system and the Apple Home Kit

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

paper instructions, nicely wrapped. It's easy to add to the system. To confirm the connection, you must bring the sensor close to the hub, press firmly, and hold for a short period of time.

Pros
  • Beautiful and graceful. When water enters, it is clearly functional; tested before being installed in a permanent location. Battery replacement is not necessary for two years or less. Easily interacts with Apple Home Kit and the Aqara system

Nothing special, there are positive and negative sides.

Below are some advantages: Only works in conjunction with the agar gateway, and notifications are sent to both that and the mi home app. Alice does not function properly with this datchik, despite the fact that the description suggested that it is connected to the agar gateway.

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

It came in a nice box with printed directions. System expansion is a breeze. The sensor must be brought to the hub and pressed firmly and held for a few seconds, at which point the hub will flash to indicate a successful connection.

Pros
  • Attractive and elegant. Verified to perform properly when exposed to water before being permanently installed. Batteries can last up to two years without being swapped out. Compatible with Aqara and Apple Home Kit with little effort.

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

Very convenient and just a necessary thing in the household. Saved me from flooding the basement. Most importantly, it actually warns of a leak. The battery is over a year and a half old and has not been replaced. 100% must have.

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

That's a wonderful thing. So far, I only have two of the new items for the kitchen, but I plan to get more for the bathroom and the new toilet. Alice has been connected, and I've verified that everything is working properly. Now Alice has sent me a notification on my phone, along with an SMS and a phone call, and Akhtung has begun shrieking at the column to flood the neighbors. The resurrected dead will appear during the night. In the not-too-distant future, I intend to make repairs to the…

Pros
  • Everything is working wonderfully.
Cons
  • The leak scenario only works once, at the very first contact with water; after that, the sensor can remain submerged in the water for at least a month without emitting a beep. This raises more questions than it answers. It would be convenient if it kept repeating itself automatically and at a regular interval until you intervened and stopped it with your hands. You are permitted to hit the alert button under specific circumstances; however, you do not wish to do so. For my part, I think I could keep my composure if I knew that an alarm from one of these sensors would end my life but that I would definitely be aware of it.

If you have a smart home from aqara, installing such sensors in places where leakage can occur can significantly save on repairs and even minimize damage to neighbors. Has some pros: It is simply placed on the floor, the electrodes (screws on the bottom) touch the floor, it works instantly from the slightest leak. With its cons: The price for all elements of aqara smart home including these sensors is very high. This is despite the fact that in the 2022 version of the application the minimum…
