Shipping costs do not in any way reflect when you will actually receive your item. The dress arrived pretty much exactly a month late, even though I ordered a standard size and paid for expedited shipping. If, like me, you have serious deadlines, then I wouldn't risk it. It would definitely be beneficial to order a dress based on your measurements. I usually wear a US size 8 and ordered a size 10. The waist was quite tight even with the lacing loose. However, my chest would gape if I loosened my arms at my sides or leaned forward, and I would need straps. The length is too long even on my highest heels and would have to be shortened. I'm returning the item because I don't have time to redo it before my wedding this weekend. Customer service is excellent and responsive. The quality of the dress is excellent for the price and it looks attractive. It just didn't work for me in this situation.
