My search for comfortable shoes is over!

Over the last 10 years I've spent several thousand dollars to find comfortable running shoes. So far every shoe I've bought has caused pain in some part of my body. Depending on the shoe, pain occurs in the arch of the foot, heel, behind the ankle, knee, lower back, etc. I have spent countless hours reading and researching what is causing my pain. I kept thinking it must have been the shoes as the pain wandered around. My husband always said it was just my aging body. But I refused to believe it. So I kept trying. I went to all kinds of specialty stores and listened to all sorts of exclamations as to why I was in pain and why their special shoes must be a miracle. I spoke to my doctor who just shrugged. I've tried several different brands with zero heels, orthopedic brands, many cushioning and non-cushioning shoes, running shoes, running shoes. I really tried everything. I've bought from regular stores and Revain. I was just looking through my past Revain orders and put the shoes into a search engine. 54 different orders appeared on my account. I'm not kidding when I say I've looked everywhere for a pair of sneakers. I thought the days of enjoying a pleasant walk in the fresh air were over. I was so discouraged. Then I came across a blog comment where someone mentioned Xero shoes. I thought what do I have to lose? I ordered from Revain because the return policy for Xero on their website is not good. I have more shoes in my garage than most shoe stores. That's why I wanted to be able to return these shoes if they didn't fit me. I finally found the miracle boots I was looking for! I have a workout tracking app on my phone. I've been wearing these shoes for 100 days and have ridden 720 miles in them. I didn't have an ounce of pain. Not a single pain. My husband was wrong! It wasn't about my aging body. It's about the shoes! I even tried walking around in my other shoes a couple of times just to compare and see if it was a coincidence that my pain went away at the exact same time. when I discovered these shoes. But no! The pain returns after walking about 100 meters in a different shoe. But as soon as I switch to Xero shoes, the pain goes away. The main reason I love these shoes is that they are so flexible. My legs have never been so free. I tried the Altra, which is also a minimalist sneaker, and I liked it a bit better than most other sneaker brands. So I compared my Xeros to my Altras to find out what made my body feel so much better about the Xeros. The big difference is that the sole of the Xero shoe is completely flexible. As a result, my foot does not match the shoe. This allows my foot to flex exactly where it wants to flex. It completely changed my game. I will say that there is the smallest problem that was easy to solve. The insoles are really thin. You really feel the way. Every little pebble. I suspect Xero did this to increase the flexibility of the shoe. I just got myself a pair of Dr. Scholl's Athletic Series and cut them to fit my running shoes. They give my foot the cushioning I need, but they don't have any supportive qualities so I still get all the flexibility I love in Xero shoes. I walk mostly on concrete sidewalks and cobbled streets and my feet, legs and back feel great. I've also walked many, many miles in the woods and over the rocks. The combination of Xero shoes with Athletic Series fitness insoles from Dr. Scholl was perfect for me. Now I have almost every style of shoe that Xero makes. I have recommended the shoes to my adult son, husband and several friends. Everyone who has tried them has also ordered several pairs. I would give that 100 stars if I could. This is absolutely the best purchase I've made from Revain. If you've been looking for pain-free shoes, the Xero might be for you. Check out all of their styles. The style in this review is my least favorite of all the Xeros I currently own, but it's still better than any other shoe I've owned before Xero. In fact, my favorite Xero shoe is the Oswego โ€“ High Performance Casual Comfort. I love every Xero shoe I own.
