Trust me when you read make sure the ventilation is open! At one point we ran out of it and the tank ballooned up, the wheels flew off, but to be fair it pretty much regained its original shape when the pressure was released. It was messy but fun. The problem isn't so much with the reservoir as with the state parks we visit. Sewage is collected in a landfill or in raised "towers" spread throughout the campsite. Count when it's full it's too heavy to lift it up the towers and the wheels really are too light to do anything other than roll it out from under the camper. A handle is provided to make it easier to tow the tank, but it would be much better if this tank could be towed for dumping. We no longer use ours.
