I was looking for a way to install a volume control on my recumbent bike. The speakers and MP3 player are behind my head and are not accessible while driving. It worked great. It would be 5 stars, but the bracket makes no sense. I drilled 4 holes in the base, there are recesses inside. these holes did not fall within the area where the controls are located. These holes allowed me to route the zip ties through the unit and around the seat's handlebars as well as the handlebars. I would have preferred slightly longer cables at both ends, but that's a minor thing. It perfectly controls the volume of a small (cheap) AAA battery powered MP3 player and still delivers great volume from a solar powered speaker.
