I bought this spool to cut twill tape to make neckbands for my disposable masks. I cut a piece off and tie it to the elastic ear loops at the bottom so that when I take the mask off, all I have to do is grab the elastic ear loops and let the mask hang like a necklace without having to touch it while holding the mask in my hand. If I have to put the mask back on since it's hanging around my neck like a necklace, I simply use my fingers in the ear loops to push the mask back into place. Again, this allows me not to touch the mask itself. I have already installed and stored many drawstring masks in my foyer. When I leave the house, I just grab a fresh mask, put it around my neck, ready to put on the ear loops if needed. When I get home I throw it in the trash and grab a new one with the rope already tied next time I go outside. This twill webbing is the perfect width for this purpose.
