Doesn't pull best in controls and lighting modifiers

Bought two of these to try and reduce travel weight. Forget it. None of them will tighten or hold a standard 40 inch steel bar. Maybe for amateur rigging for a while, but not for professional rigging. Save your money and use the metal handle.

Pros

This gripper head is specifically designed to hold mesh and flat surfaces mounted to centenary posts or butterfly frames.
