My dog learned to open the door himself, so I bought this gate as an extra door. It felt sturdy, well made, well finished and well packaged. Installation was pretty easy, I was able to install it myself. I didn't use an extra door because the length is perfect for my door. I like that it closes and locks by itself. My only complaint is cosmetic rather than functional, but we were amazed why the included bottom support brackets to stabilize the extensions are unfinished silver and the door is white! But other than that it's worth every penny you paid, I would recommend without hesitation.
