Review on Aputure Amaran AHL HN100 Flash Camera by Trevor Garrett

excellent light works amazing. First my 4 star rating because it's really tight on the flash. Amazing light, works great with all features. I am very happy with it and that it fits my Nikon D5300/D5200 Canon Rebel XTI One Piece. Not sure I like it but I can live with it as this light is meant for macro photography. With wide-angle shots, you will see a rim of light. This is my first experience with this lamp. I can easily crop the rim to a small or large 24.1MB image EXCEPT! Low light is more than enough for close-up photography, and maximum light is great as a light source and flash. The flash works great and the TTL is amazing. This is my first use without a macro lens. I will update this review sometime after Hurricane IRMA. Yes, I'm in South Florida (Miami). Overall I love this ring light and for the money it is AMAZING. Please be careful with the battery cover. She's a little mushy. Also a NOTE: The 100 LEDs provide excellent lighting considering I'm under a hurricane warning and fearing a power outage at some point during and after the event. I'm from Miami, so I've survived every hurricane since the 1960's.
