Some people have complained that it's not a momentary switch. Mine was and has worked great. I had the same problem as other buyers, the light only comes on when the button is pressed, which is pretty useless as it needs to come on at night for you to see. I hacked around the switch a bit and now I can connect it to my headlights so that it turns on when the headlights are on. I'll try to post a video on YouTube, but you can follow these steps: 1) Carefully remove the back cover with a small screwdriver. 2) Hold the switch face up when releasing it as there are three small springs inside. 3) Two springs rest on a metal tab at the bottom of the switch. remove them. 4) A feather looks like it's not supported by anything. It connects to the ground, leave that alone. Wire to both V+ terminals on the inside of the switch. 6) Solder another wire to one of the V+ terminals and drill a small hole at the bottom of the switch where it won't interfere with the switch's movement and thread the wire through the hole. . This is your positive connection that you can plug in to turn on the light. 7) Reassemble switch and check! Hope that helps!
