But before I get into that, and just to be clear, if you are looking for the best solution for servicing your tractor unit and want to try an RV on the road, there are some better options. as Weir; and above all, two sets specially composed for motorhomes. While I don't mind buying Viair compressors, I want to offer my voice of reason. It's no news that Viair compressors are expensive. And while everyone is praising Viair for being so top-notch; very few people stop to face the fact that every single piece of gear you get is rough around the edges given the money you are spending. The compressor I am looking at is not entirely made in Germany. The Viair compressor is entirely made in China. And while the compressor is by no means a bunch of junk (it's one of the best compressors of its kind available), it's, shall we say, on the higher end of what you'd expect from a Chinese product. The fit and workmanship in every respect, right down to the carrying bag, leaves a lot to be desired. Another FACT completes the reality check. The Viair compressor is excellent in one respect. COMPLETE YOUR VEHICLE AND RV TIRES. It's actually not that great to do anything else. And if you're an off-roader looking for a supercharger to re-inflate your big tanks after a day in the mud, I highly recommend doing your homework on Viair superchargers before you pull the trigger. I am in no way satisfied with my purchase. I believe it will do exactly what I need and I believe it will continue to do so for many years to come. But if we're all being honest, you're definitely paying a PRO Tool premium for a consumer quality tool. In a market where Viair had any competition at all, the 400P and 450P RV kits would sell for around $180-$200.
