Let's start by making it look awesome! I mean the katana handle as a lever?! Yes, please. The stock shifter (round ball) felt weird every time I shifted up or down, and sometimes it would disengage and it annoyed me because it took me a second or two to turn it back on. With a couple of hex screws holding it in place I won't have this problem. As shown above, my hand is in a comfortable position that I usually ride in. In the second photo my hand is at the base just to show how much of the handle is left on top when you put your hand there. Not to mention that I find it easier to push with my thumb and pull with my index finger to change gears. With the stock shifter, it was awkward but functional to grab the round shifter. If you are thinking of grabbing this to improve the look of your car then buy it without a doubt. The kit included the handle itself, a hex key to tighten the hex screws and 4 adapters depending on the thickness of your switch stem. I personally didn't use adapters as my Mini Cooper's stem was so thick I didn't need them. Easy installation, if required, simply put the appropriate adapter on the pole and screw it tight, done! Amazing product, my friends think it's really cool.
