The product is okay, it's not a waste of money!

You can see which complete ear pads have a tiny region, which determines how tightly the headset holds and transmits the entire spectrum of sounds. I uploaded a snapshot of the headphones as well as a comparison of the complete ear pads with the incomplete ones (from business X). In a nutshell, I changed out all of the ear cushions and am pleased with the results.
 After a month had gone and a visit to the SC was required, one of the earpieces ceased functioning properly.

Pros

an excellent sound, as well as no obstruction in the bass, making a snug fit absolutely necessary.

Cons

Ear cushions - for me, the full ones are either too little or, more accurately, not elastic enough for a comfortable and secure fit (even the larger ones). Even though there is a lot of information in the instructions, the initial setup is not very straightforward. The ANC (active noise cancellation) tests suggest that either I did not notice it or that it does not function very effectively.
