I bought these walkie talkies for a reason and they do exactly what I need. My mother-in-law is 93 years old and she still gets up and walks. Her balance is a bit off and she's stubborn about using a walker or cane, so these little gems are literally lifesavers. Attach it to the belt loop and off you go. She falls from time to time so with these wonderful walkers I always know where she is. Battery life is another matter. Even in standby mode, it consumes quite a lot of power. I buy rechargeable batteries to save some money every month. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a little attention when it comes to interacting with children or the elderly.
