I've been looking for something like this for years. Only I didn't know! I have long hair, below the shoulders, it's quite thick, and when it gets wet it's also very heavy. Adding a towel around my head after showering was necessary as I like to gently remove water from my hair and dry it as best as possible before using a hair dryer. But the towel rarely stays on your head. Unless I sit perfectly still, every movement I make causes the towel to slide down my face and off my head. These headbands don't look or feel like anything special, but they really, really work. Contains all my hair from head to tail. And the hair stays in place. There is a button at the end that a loop goes through and hair is lifted, out of the way and held securely while it dries. I can brush my teeth, get dressed, paint my toenails, etc., and my hair doesn't bother me. I really like these things. They don't cause tangles in my hair. And these dry very quickly, hanging on a hook in the bathroom.
