Review on ProElife Ultra Thin Silicone Keyboard Protector Cover Skin For Apple IMac Magic Keyboard &Amp by Lance Levatte

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Something strange is happening.

The jury is still out. First, the size looks right. I was disappointed that the cover doesn't extend past the sides of the keyboard at all. So she just lies there. Easy to hit or spin. Typing was easy except he has a mind of his own. When I was typing an email, the enter key would get stuck and I couldn't stop it. I had to eject the cover and then reload the message. I ended up having to quit the programs and restart the browser. I have no idea what happened, some weird key combination? Luckily I was able to recover my emails from "Drafts" and continue. I can try to seal the corners or it goes in the trash. It's not expensive, but I was hoping to make the new keyboard better, not worse. The overlap is slightly less (1mm?) side to side, and the bottom right corner is a "return". It jerks and I can't stop it. I'll try to keep the tape steady otherwise you'll take it off when using the keyboard. UPDATE 2: Duct tape doesn't stick. I think it's like talc to keep it dry. I gave up. I'll look for a simple case that I'll take off to use the keyboard. Good concept, bad implementation.

Pros
  • Keyboard overlays
Cons
  • This makes me angry
