Review on Kraus KPF-2620SFS Oletto Kitchen Faucet: 16 Inch Spot Free Stainless Steel, Top-notch Performance by Kyle Bonnell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Revised from my original review

Original review: Considering similar Kohler, Moen and Delta fittings start at $300 for chrome versions, this one is brushed Brass a great buy. It was well packaged, each component in separate plastic cases; Delivery was 2 days EARLY; The faucet is heavy and well made. Installation was easy (took about 15 minutes including removing the old faucet and plumbing) and the water temp control was top notch. My only minor complaint, like others, is that I would have preferred the puller to be magnetized, but that's no big deal; The weight is right where it should be, so reinserting the bar into the gooseneck is a breeze. Owner of a renovation/construction company and would recommend to clients! Updated review after 1 year of ownership: Several others have encountered the same issues - water flow is incredibly weak, especially in extreme temperatures (so hot or cold all the time). There is no obvious way to take the atomizer apart to unclog the aerator and see if that helps. Also the switch between flow and spray no longer works - I think the flow has to be strong to keep it in the open flow position and since it isn't the switch stays in the middle position doing half flow, half spray. . My solution was to put a thick rubber band around the switch in the flow position. It doesn't look like a ghetto at all. Again, they own a renovation/construction company and we have strongly advised our clients to stay away from them. Kraus fix it!

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
