Review on Machine Soothing Control Auto Off Sleeping by Shanee Cobb

I bought this mainly as a white noise generator for myself and it's perfect for that purpose. However, I have to turn it on/off and configure it manually as I was never able to connect it to Wi-Fi through the app. First of all, you have to log in with a WiFi password, which I have never encountered in other applications for similar products. Secondly, the connection takes a very long time. And for me it stopped at 87% every time. I had the router set up correctly, followed all the instructions, and talked a lot to the helpdesk (and I work in IT myself) but it never connected. The support team was very helpful for what it's worth and even sent me a second unit in case the first one broke but I had the same issue. For my purposes it's ok. If you want something with more control, programmable/automated on/off times, and an easy-to-navigate app, I'd suggest something like the sunroof stand we use for the kid's room. I think I bought it for $15 and it's now $30 - still cheaper than other products, but personally I wouldn't want to pay more than $20 unless they fix the connection issue.
