I came from an Elite 2 controller, which of course, like everyone, failed sooner or later. stick drift. I bought from a store with stock, the guarantee is excellent. Decided to give it a try as this store is no longer elite. Holy cow, the ES2 controller is not only cheaper, but MUCH better in quality. Here you pay for the cosmetics in full. The trigger option is useless as it only physically shortens the trigger travel. So if you shoot it's fine, it works, but if you get in the car you can hardly go forward. The total failure of Warzone. The fine tuning screws do nothing. The Elite allows you to use the software to register that short pull pull as a full pull, allowing cars to be removed instantly. The paddles are too big for my 220lb 6ft 2in hands and fingers. And they bend. A lot of. They are all crispy and crunchy. Feels like a child's toy. The right stick got stuck when I first got it. It turned out that you need to adjust the "slip ring". Think of a bottle's plastic safety ring that pops out when you unscrew the cap. That's it. It literally slides in and out of the cavity around the sticks. Purely for visual pop. Huge difficulties. For $200 it's a huge rip off. The Elite 2 costs $180 unless it's on sale, and it's a much better controller in almost every way that I can attest to. A possible exception is longevity. I already had 3 Elites. They last an average of 4 months of "quarantine period" gaming sessions. The sticks then drift and/or the bumpers register as multiple taps for each tap. Buy an extended warranty on the Elite or use Microsoft's warranty service (it's free and lasts around 2 weeks) and you'll be much happier - even with such major issues. This controller is a Lego constructor. The Elite Series 2 controller is an erector set. The biggest complaint about this controller is the price and the triggers. For half the price I would probably consider. Micro USB? For real? But now it's mostly useless to me as I play Warzone almost exclusively. Prompt return and no regrets.
