Review on 🔍 FS4B-SEO by Lucas Hale

I bought this to replace the crappy glass with the antenna and hooked it up to an antenna mount in the trunk and a cheap Midland 1001Z with a quick connector. As soon as I landed and found the SWR, I set out for a test drive. On the freeway, cruising at freeway speeds, I got very good audio for up to 4.5 miles and reception was excellent. The SWR was easy to adjust on my rig once the ground was hooked up properly (which was the hardest part, my roof rack is isolated from the rest of the car). Adjusting the SWR was very easy, just turn a screw. Don't forget to wear the cap when testing the SWR if you intend to wear it while using the antenna. All in all it's a bit big for a car, but that doesn't detract from my view, it just looks silly. Next time I will probably choose the 3" version and definitely buy a Firestick if I need a different antenna.
