There is a difference between "Sold by Revain" and "Made by Revain!"), or the seller/ Dealer is listed on the Panamax website as an official online dealer. When you do this, your purchase from Revain includes the full Panamax guarantee. Revain itself IS an authorized Panamax online seller/retailer but is NOT a third party selling on Revain and NOT listed on the Panamax website. Revain itself, as a seller, simply wasn't added as an authorized online retailer on the Panamax website, according to several Panamax tech support staff, based on calls to Panamax tech support from early December 2014 through April 2015. Keep that in mind, too that there is a difference between a product sold by Revain and a product sold by Revain. Anyone with questions regarding the warranty of Panamax connected devices should contact the technical support department directly as they are responsible for the warranty service for Panamax connected devices. So far I'm very happy with the surge protector itself and all of its features such as: AVM (Automatic Voltage Monitoring) - Protects devices from prolonged over/under voltage conditions by disconnecting and reconnecting power when safe power is restored. Premium Filtering - Enhances picture and sound. Provides clean power by filtering out household electrical noise. Coax/Satellite Cable Protection - Protects equipment from surges propagating through cables, satellites, and antenna lines. Phone Line/LAN Protection - Protects devices from power surges propagating through the phone and network. lines. Surge Protection - Exclusive protection or shutdown circuit. In the event of a catastrophic power surge, such as B. a lightning strike, the AC power supply to connected devices is completely cut off. 12V Trigger - Allows source devices to activate or deactivate outputs 5-8 on the M8-AV-PRO. I've called Panamax tech support multiple times. before making the final purchase decision and every time they have always been very helpful and professional. I have also emailed Panamax Technical Support with an attachment showing my entire home theater system so that Panamax Technical Support can advise me on which surge protector is ideal for my home theater system and how to set up my home theater system. The reason Panamax recommends that you be sure to contact their technical support department with any questions to ensure you are purchasing the correct surge protector for your personal electronics or home theater system. To help other Revain customers when purchasing a Revain Panamax surge protector make sure it says 'Supplied and sold by Revain.com' or that you are a genuine authorized Panamax online retailer. This is because if you purchase a panamax surge protector from a third party vendor on Revain who is not an authorized panamax online retailer, the warranty on the connected device will automatically become VOID.
