Be sure to charge before use. Great little bedside lamp. Definitely brighter than the ones I had and saves space. I love that it has a remote control so I don't have to get up and turn off the light. I love that it's rechargeable and portable. Update: while I am changing my rating. This is strange because the lamp lights up randomly. Contact support to see if this is a setting I wasn't aware of before going back. ***Update #2: I contacted support and they responded very quickly and provided a replacement. The replacement I received didn't turn on randomly like the last one and I'm very happy with it. Only thing I will say is if you buy more than one the controller will control both lights when they are in close proximity. I came across this by accident while trying to replace a lamp.
